Thanks so much for taking the time to put the pictures up! It looks like you all had a great time, but I know a lot of work went into it. I'm sorry your time got cut short, but I am glad that you at least got to have three great weeks.
This is a kind of final report on the Azerbaijan summer camp from the "Shipping Department" back in the states. For those interested in numbers, we shipped almost 205 pounds of donated stuff to Jane and couldn't begin to calculate the monetary worth of that. We received donations that helped substantially in covering shipping cost. As the commercial goes, the value of the impact on the kids--priceless! As you look at the pictures, you will see that these youngsters don't exactly live in the lap of luxury. Jane was the first American teacher in her school and one of five Peace Corps volunteers in the town. Peace Corps volunteers came from all over Azerbaijan to help with the camp. With your help, those young people have presented a face of America to the Azeri families that goes a long way to creating a more positive feeling for our country. From Jane, many many thanks, and from the rest of the Flegals your support was overwhelming. If ever we can return the favor, please let us know. Bless you all!
