This is Gala Alta - an ancient castle on top of a mountain that we hiked to a few weeks ago. It was amazing! There are parts of this country that are absolutely breathtaking. I thought I would show you one.

I don't know if we've ever met - we may have over the 13 or so years I've worked with your Mom at PRD.
I passed your link on to a friend, now living in Dubai w/her husband and 4 boys, who was in the Peace Corps in the '80's in Chad. Your experiences sound similar and unique at the same time.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hi, and that I'm enjoying reading your blog. What you're doing is sooo cool. I'm looking forward to reading more entries.
